A general club meet will be held on Saturday Feb. 11th at 6pm at PAPA'a BBQ located on NW Hwy between Loop 12 and I35 in Dallas.

Come on out and hang with your friends and discuss the new year.

This is a family friendly event for everyone. Friends of friends interested in the LSPBC and our activities are welcome too. The first meeting of the year after being cooped up all winter is always a good one.

wont make it down for this... but i will be up around valwood and 35 tomorrow morning with the buick, if anyone wanted to meet for a bit.

Sorry I didn't make the meeting tonight. I had planned to come but just got too many things going on and by the time I realized what time it was it was too late. Hopefully someone can fill me in on the details.

The meeting was called to order at 7:24pm by Secretary David Newton and seconded by club Director Carl Brimer.

1) Dues for 2012 / Membership
These will stay the same as 2011. $25.00 per year. No prorating. Dues run from Jan. 01 to Dec. 31st. We have 2 members paid for 2012. Membership forms were passed out to everyone. Also a club phone list was given out to every member. We signed up two new members. $500 was collected in Dues.

2) Car Shows for 2012
We will be doing Shows for Brian @ dfwcarshosinfo.com. Probably will be on the 3rd Saturday. More info as it becomes available.




3) TMCCC/ X Bash
This event will be held at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis. Racing for Team K.
There are many other TMCCC races on the schedule check your event list for scheduled dates.

4) Redline Racing
We are confirmed for the 2nd Saturday of each month starting in April through Oct.


5) Calendar of Events
A event list was passed out by Mike Mahalik to all of the members. These will be available at other club events. A club picnic will be held this year. It is TBD.


5A) General Club meets
To be held three times per year. Meeting dates are Feb.11th; May 5th and in Sept. date TBD
All general meetings will be held at PAPA's BBQ in Dallas.

6)Dyno Event TBD
We will have probably have one in the Fall.


7) Hot Rod Power Tour
We had several members going up to Oklahoma. Info will be posted on the clubs forum.

8) Newsletters and the Website
NL’s will be four times a year. The website is currently being updated by Carl.


9) Treasurer Report
Over $2100.00 available in the club account. The account is currently being changed to another bank. Our new Treasurer Tim Thompson is overseeing this change.
