The $15 limit is fine with me. How are we set for the kitchen? Do we need to bring all utensils etc.

I'll be visiting the location Saturday with Brian to make that determination and to put down a deposit. I suspect that the club will indeed need to supply disposable utensils, plates, napkins and cups. I also plan to secure a main course like a ham.



Thanks to the help of member Brian Allen, we are getting a good deal on a club house rental that should provide a very central location for all members. We will be working to provide music and possibly showing a 2010 Buick v Ford Shootout video on the club’s flat screen televisions. A billiards and shuffle board table will also be available for a little friendly competition. This venue also has an exceptional pool area that will be great for outdoor mingling and photography if the weather is nice.

  • Most importantly, over the last several years everyone has done a fantastic job of bringing things like extra drinks, beans, potato salad, garden salad, hors d'oeuvre, finger foods, casseroles and etc. Please post up if you are able to help out with this. The LSPBC will be supplying a main course like ham or brisket along with a few other items.

  • We will also be handing out our season awards to our point leaders. David has secured some really nice awards I think everyone will proud to display.

  • Additionally, there will be a $15.00 limit gift exchange for those of you who want to participate in this traditional and usually very entertaining game.

  • If a consensus of eligible voters is present at this party, additional nominations for the 2012 officer positions will be accepted and elections will take place. Early voting will be available and accepted once the ballots have been mailed. More information on this process will be in another discussion thread soon.

  • The dress will be semi-casual and I think that there will be some great memories made with our friends as usual!

Hey guys, my wife and I will bring empanadas (Colombian meat pies) again, seemed to go over well! Also Carl, I never did collect my $25 from the IFO from you so you can throw that in the pot with Kevin's and buy some more stuff for the party!Cool

Thank you Mike! That is most generous and it will be very helpful for getting a few more supplies like plates, utensils & etc. I am looking forward to visiting with everyone this Saturday.
