You can attach up to three images to a post. The image will be automatically resized by the forum software. It's best to keep the pics less than 800px wide. If the pic is over 500k in size a link to the pic will be shown. If it's less than 500k in size the pic will be shown as part of the post.

When you make a post on the forum you have the option to select "Attach Files To This Post?" at the bottom of the editor window. It's circled in the image below. You MUST check this box before you save your post.

This image shows the box in a "checked" state. Check this box then click the "Post" button.

If you have checked the box then you are taken to the screen shown below. In this screen you use the "Browse" button to find pics on your computer. Click "Upload" once you have selected the pic.

You can upload up to three pics.

As each pic is uploaded the filename will display at the top of the page. In this example the file I uploaded is "buckaroos_1.bmp". When you have finished uploading the pics, just click the "Back" button. This will take you back to your original post.

The post with attached image - in this case a pic of a brand new, poor handling, very slow 2007 Ford Mustang :)

the only box I am seeing is the one about the email notification. There isn't a persistant box or statement or a box and statement for attaching files. I am logged on and the only reason I started a new topic was that there was not reply icon to click to reply in that thread. feel free to move this to that thread as it would be there if I could have posted it there. Thanks.

If you are idle longer than 10-15 minutes, it will automatically log you out. The "post reply" option should be at the bottom of the page. I see nothing within your "user rights" that would not allow for this.

It appears that I have found a setting that was not allowing the members access to this option. It should now be available to everyone other than "guests".
